Genuine OEM 285810 Whirlpool Washer Agitator Repair Kit. This kit includes the Long Cam, Agits, Retainer, and Spring. Do not get this confused with 285825. If your model has this kit, you can easily test whether or not this should be replaced. With the washer off, open the lid, grab the agitator and spin it in both directions. It should spin freely one way, but catch when spun the other direction. This process is the agitation process that scrubs your clothes. If it spins freely in both directions, you may need to replace this kit on your unit.
